The Apartment
Beside the Vatican City walls, one of the best places to appreciate the impressive Saint Peter's dome. The apartment, located on the first floor of a '800 palace, has three comfortable triple bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, a dining room and a fully equipped large kitchen. Modern furnitures and colours harmonize with the original floor, the scene in the dining room is overshadowed by the magnificence of St. Peter, the large and quiet bedrooms guarantee a perfect night rest after a full day of walkings in Rome. The dead-end street and the well guarded area contributes to this oasis of tranquility. And Sometime it happens to see the Pope passing the Vatican gate at the front, leaving or returning from one of his visits.
The Vatican is one of the most important and iconic areas in Rome. The Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter Basilica, with its impressive square and four row colonnade, are visited by more than ten million visitors each year, all staggered by the huge work of man. With a 10 minutes walk you can reach Prati and Borgo Pio, where you can find dozens of typical restaurants, where "Cacio e Pepe" and "Carbonara" pasta are dominating the scene of the typical roman recipes. In 15 minutes you are at Castel Sant'angelo and the Tiber, then just cross the wonderful pedestrian bridge and you are already in the middle of the historical City Centre.
